| The ENSYS PDH course has two
parts |
| 1. the theory section |
| 2. the exam section |
After you have studied the
material in the theory part of the course, by hand-solving the
problems
you will proceed to take the exam. |
The exam will contain problems
similar to the theory portion of the course.
Every problem must be hand-solved.
If you need to look up equations you can refer back to the
theory part of the course. |
|
|
| There are several ways to
hand-solve the problems in the exam |
| |
| 1. digitizer |
If you have a pen-tablet, such
as a Wacom tablet, you can work the exam on the whiteboard.
You can insert blank pages after each problem by clicking on "
edit " at the top of the whiteboard
You can then submit the entire exam whiteboard with your
solutions.
If you are planning to incorporate ENSYS PDH courses in your
professional continuing education portfolio, it may be worth it
to purchase a small Wacom digitizer,
they are sold at Best Buy, Office Depot, Circuit City, for less
than $ 100. |
| |
| 2. pencil-and-paper |
You can work the exam on paper (
use one side per problem ) then submit your exam via fax or scan
and email.
You can print out the whiteboard pages, then work on the exam on
hardcopy. |
|
|
| Your exam will be hand-graded |
If you score > 70%
Your certificate with PDH credits will be uploaded in your Space
and you can print it out.
This certificate will be part of your permanent PDH record.
Your graded exam will also be uploaded in your Space. |
If you score < 70%
Re-study the theory portion of the course and retake the exam. |
|
|
| Document your PDH work |
|
You should
print out all the pages of your ENSYS course, including your
worked problems, exam solutions and your graded exam, file in a
binder.
This is to provide documentation of your continuing-education
activities, make it part of your professional library.
If the engineering board decides to audit you, you will have
hardcopy documentation of your work, including your graded exam.
A 2.5 hour ENSYS course will have around 64 whiteboard pages
with 23 exam pages.
So including your solutions you will have around 100 pages of
documentation of your pdh work.
We are the only PDH provider with this verification system. |
|
|
| Your PDH record |
|
All your
certificates and graded exams will be uploaded in your Space.
This will provide you with a permanent record of your
professional activities.
Please note that after 1 year, a subscription is charged at $ 60
/ yr to maintain your Space. |

PDH Courses |

ENSYS is the
only training provider which offers PDH credits in the classical
way: you have to hand-calculate problems to pass the exam.
Only ENSYS offers real engineering courses, with real exams
where you have to do real engineering work to earn your credits.
We do not use automated systems to give credits, your exams are
graded the old-fashioned way, with a red pen, you are assigned a
real grade which also indicates your performance. Our PDH
courses are the only courses on the market where you have to
solve technical problems.
Our PDH program exactly meet the state requirements: PDH courses
must contribute to your technical skills.
After taking our courses, you will feel that you have earned
your credits.
There are may providers on the market which offer credits by
letting you read a few pages of text and giving you automated
true-false questions, there are no calculations involved, your
work is not documented and may risk not getting accepted. |
